What you will work on
Help us build the climate intelligence that empowers cities to reach net zero, and turn theoretical insights into real-world climate action.
In this project study (all genders), you will play a pivotal role in giving policy makers a quantitative and qualitative basis for their decisions. Your work will help cities understand which measures really move the needle on climate protection and adaption - and weight this with costs and further benefits. You’ll work at the intersection of research, data and product: learning deeply about climate topics, while directly shaping how our software guides strategic decisions. We are looking for a proactive person with a passion for sustainability who wants high ownership, strong practical relevance, and clear impact on how cities act on climate.
Your challenge:
- Build the climate evidence base: Conduct structured research on climate protection and adaptation measures and distil them into clear, decision-relevant insights.
- Model climate actions and their impact: Develop and refine quantitative models for emissions accounting, effectiveness, cost–benefit, and savings potential of different measures, enabling a comparison of options.
- Evaluate and prioritize measures: Translate your analyses into robust assessments that show which measures make strategic sense for cities.
- Translate insights into our product: Work closely with our climate, product and engineering teams to map your research and models into the tool.
